Privacy Act 1988 Collection Notice
Berry First National Real Estate respects your right to privacy. We are bound by the National Privacy Principles containted in the Privacy Act 1988. Those principles regulate most of our activities with respect to personal information collected, stored, used and disclosed by our office.
We use personal information collected from purchasers during 'Open For Inspections' for security purposes. We may also use that information to contact purchasers with respect to the property that they inspected and others which we believe may interest you and in providing the information you agree to use unless advised differently. If the information is not provided, we will not be able to provide an effective service to you. Other tha in the circumstances allowed under the Privacy Act 1988, we do not disclose information of this kind to other parties.
It is a condition of entry to our 'Open House' that:
- A member of each inspecting party provides the agent with a full name and contact telephone number
- Evidence of identification may be required at the agent's discretion
- The agent reserves the right to deny access to any person from the premises for non compliance with the above or for any other reason where, at the agent's discretion, the best interests of the vendor are not being served
